If I could talk to my teenage self I would tell her to relax. Just relax everything will fall into place. Spend more time with friends and people you love & work less. Getting a 2ed full time job and a 3rd part time job will not benefit your life long term. Remember to take care of yourself before you take care of other capable adults. You are so important! If you take care of yourself now maybe you wouldn’t struggle so hard in the future physically and mentally! Stay in school. Finish the last few months of high school instead of dropping out. I have my GED but I am not happy with it. & pick a degree in college and stick with it!

But most importantly I would tell my teenage self to spend more time with her children when she has them. It is very limited. Love like you have loved no other. Never ever miss a single moment with them.

What would you tell your younger self? What is the most important thing you know now that would be useful to know when you were a teenager?

  1. Your line about taking care of myself more and to relax because everything will fall into place is what I would tell my younger self too.
    Much love ❤

  2. Lovely post. I’d tell myself to care less about what people are talking behind my back, sooner or latter the carmaker will be reflected into their life. Trust fewer people. Be stubborn, you will get where you want and don’t ignore voice in your head and the idea to start a blog.

  3. I would tell myself to be true to myself and not worry about others’ opinions. That loving yourself and being comfortable in your own skin is so important.

  4. There are many things I would like to have told my teenage self but I don’t think I would be where I am today if I didn’t struggle along with my path a little. Things I struggled with as a teen just made me stronger today.

  5. I would tell myself too put myself first in stead of always wanting too please others. At the other hand I don’t regret the choices that that I’ve made in the past as it made me the person who I am today.

  6. There are so many things I would love to tell my teenage self. But at the same time, I am very happy with my life right now, and changing too much of the past could change what I have. It’s always a balance.
